I have been in New Zealand for a year now and it is nearly the end of my stay which makes me sad but also happy. Sad because I will say to so many people goodbye and happy because I will go to summer and I will see my family and friends again. My year here in New Zealand was an awesome experience. I learned lots of new skills which made me probably more mature. I got to know so many people and made good friends.

My name is Arocha, but everybody in Geraldine called me Tui. I come from Thailand and I have been studying at Geraldine High School for two years. This year is my last year at school and I am planning to come back to New Zealand again next year for university. I had a great time living Geraldine.

Hello everyone! My name is Yordis and I come from Panama. I have been in New Zealand nearly eight months. My time in New Zealand has been an experience to remember for the rest of my life. It has been pretty hard at times because when I came here I didn’t understand much English and the New Zealand culture is very different from mine.

My name is Yuri. I am 17 and come from Osaka, Japan. I have been almost one year at Geraldine High School and I have really enjoyed my time here. The best things about my year have been making kiwi and international friends and getting involved in school activities, especially ski trips and ice skating, rafting, LipSync contest, school social and the school ball. I also played in the school basketball and badminton teams.
