On Tuesday 29th March, Mrs Hayes, Mrs Doy and seven of our International Students travelled to Timaru to be formally welcomed to the South Canterbury district.

Aysegul represented the students of Turkey and on behalf of those students thanked the Mayor and the people in the district for their welcome.

Every country was represented by different students around the South Canterbury district.

All of our students enjoyed the welcome given by the Mayor and were surprised at the range of countries represented at the Welcome. Some of our students were able to pick up some greetings in another language by the time the ceremony and morning tea were finished.
