On Wednesday 19 of August, the year 7 and 8 students went on a ski trip together. We had to be at school at 7am leaving shortly afterwards.
The bus trip was fun, and we had to take three different buses because there were a lot of us. When we got there we had to get our ski gear and our lift passes so we could start skiing. We were split into different groups according to our abilities. The instructors were very patient with us and we feel like that we come away ready to take on more challenges on the slopes.
I think all of us had an awesome time skiing; everyone seemed to be having a great time.. At the end of the day one of our buses broke down, so instead of three we managed to squeeze into two because some students went home with their parents. Even though we were a little bit more squished on the ride back, we had a lot of fun, listening to music and chatting. I even managed a nap.
On the way home we stopped at Fairlie for a break on the playground. When we got back at school everyone looked like they’d just walked through a storm because we were all so tired.
The next day there were only ten of us at school because they were SMASHED, needing a day off. A great day all around.
