Kangourou sans Frontières 2024 - the world's biggest maths competition

If you like problem solving and like a challenge, this is absolutely the thing for you.

GHS mathematicians from years 7 to 13 have the opportunity again this year to have a go at the world's largest mathematics competition, with entries paid for by the maths department. It is a multiple choice competition set at different levels for different year groups, and takes around 75 minutes. This year it will be taking place on Tuesday 26 March (week 9).

Please email Mr Weaver directly if you would like to give this a go and put yourself out there and compete for GHS, Canterbury and New Zealand!. Your maths teacher will be happy to answer any questions you might have if you have any.


The Drop In Maths Workshop sessions held on Monday lunchtimes in T1 provide great opportunities to practice and have a look at previous years' questions too.
